Perfect Results 完美变身

If you have watch 完美变身 Perfect Results today in Channel 8 at 8.30pm, you would have seen some of my talents, Sherilyn & Si Sheng including myself appearing on tv. They acted in the short commercial film. So happy to see myself on tv, hope to have the opportunity to do so again & i am sure i will be able to do better.

A special day today !!!

Today is indeed a special day for me. On 19 August last year, My hubby & i have decided to have our ROM (registry of mariage)which several of my relatives & friends were there to show their blessing. So today is our 1 year anniversary....

Both of us have make the effort to be available today to celebrate this special occasion. Due to our busy schedule & also the aim of saving more money for our wedding dinner next year, we just have to sacrifice our time together.

Several plans & decisions make during the past few days & i know that i have to stay firm & strong so that everything can be settled down.

It has been long since i have the time to go shopping on weekdays. Hubby bought a pair of shoes for me & i really love it very much. Lots of kisses & hugges for my hubby. He promise to bring me for shopping again next week as i need to buy a lot of things for my wedding.

Times always passes very fast. In the evening, we decided to go for seafood dinner.I had always love spicy food since i was young due to the influence of my mum. Hubby order all the spicy items for me & the food was really nice.

I will be going for my indoor wedding shoot on 04 September 2010 & hopefully i am able to slim down bout 2-3kg before that day.

Sand Castle - a film by Boo Junfeng

Today i went to attend the Exclusive preview of SANDCASTLE followed by a dialogue session with writer-director Boo Junfeng as he shares more on his Cannes experience.



Synopsis: Just prior to 18-year-old En's mandatory enlistment into the Singaporean army, a series of events and disclosures threatens to alter his world view forever. The taste of his first romance, the death of his grandfather, his grandmother's worsening Alzheimer's disease, his schoolteacher mother's affair with an uptight military commander, and En's newfound awareness of his late father's student activist past all contribute to his decision to reevaluate the pieces of his life before they are erased by the tides of time.

About Boo Junfeng:
Boo Junfeng is one of Singapore's most prolific young filmmakers. Since 2005 his short films have won several awards at the Singapore International Film Festival, including Best Director, Best Cinematography, Special Jury Prize, Special Achievement Award and twice for Best Film. He was also the first recipient of the McNally Award for Excellence in the Arts - the valedictorian honour of Lasalle College of the Arts and the latest recipient of the Young Artist Award from the National Arts Council of Singapore.

Trained in film schools in Singapore and Spain, his works often centre on themes of alienation, kinship, love and sexuality. His short films, as well as his segment in the omnibus feature film, LUCKY 7, have won him acclaim at numerous film festivals, including Berlin International Film Festival, International Film Festival Rotterdam and Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.

NEA Eco Music Challenge 2010

Had a lot of mixed feelings for this weekend but i tink i know what i should do & will not regret my decision.

Went to do my gel nails on Saturday as part of my photo taking on 04 Sept 2010. Did it at a shop at bugis street level 2 called milly nails. Service is quite good & the nails turn out really nice. If anyone wants to do manicure or pedicure, can get the contact from me.

As for today, went for a series of photoshoot and filming for RIG artistes namly Elson Soh, Faith Pang, Dayan Tan, Koh Yi Ting, Joseph Hui, Jessica Chua and Angie Lee & not forgetting the video we recorded for NEA Eco Music Challenge 2010 to support Go Green campaign!

Synopsis
Sunny (Aaron Kwok) is a clown in a circus act but he aspires to be a top performer just like his dad, The King of Flying Knife. While in Malaysia, Sunny and a few of his circus performer friends go for a treasure hunt, stumbling upon barrels of bio-chemicals left from the war.

Upon returning, some of the members are mutating due to inhaling the bio-chemicals but Sunny seems fine from the exposure. They gain extraordinary superhuman powers. The leader of the entertainment outfit Chang Tai Chu (Colin Chou) decides to use this newfound strength to do evil.

As there is an increase of crime in the city, the media and the police get involved. Kungfu master Suan Hou (Wu Jing) and policewoman Xin Hua (Zhang Jin Chu) enter the fray, while Angel (Shu Qi), a reporter who is recently demoted, also pursues the case in hopes of rescuing her flagging career.

I really enjoy this movie as there are a few sentences i like in this movie that is closely related to the reality right now.

1) “人生就像飞镖一样，一旦出镖就要命中目标"
2) ＂追逐名利的时候，不知不觉我们都变了。＂＂不管走到哪里，都不能迷失自己。＂
3) 爱情是一种感觉, 可以一起开心，一起伤心，甚至可以为对方而死。

Hello Campus Search 2010 and Challenge the Celebrities 2010.

Have not been blogging for almost a week. Help out in two RIG events, Hello Campus Search 2010 and Challenge the Celebrities 2010.Really enjoy myself for this two events.

For the hello campus events, i help in the voting session. All the contestants bought their friends & family members to come & support them. They each display their own talents like singing, dancing & even thai boxing to get more supporters.

For the Challenge the celebrities, we have our own RIG artistes, Youthbox artistes as well as forest artistes from Malaysia involve in this PK competition. You get to see all the contestants working hard to get into the 2nd round.
